I have pretty much run out of ideas thanks to Google. Now although this fixes my issues for in-house uses, it does not help for sending password protected compressed folders to outside clients. If the end-user sends a password protected compressed folder to me for troubleshooting I am unable to open it via Windows compression, however if I open the password protected file using 7zip it does work. I have taken the files moved them to the given users documents folder to try and use a less secure folder, to then compress the files. I have pulled all updates from our WSUS server to the machine (was reading online C++ updates can hinder your use of 7zip) 7-zip 9.20 (also tried the beta version 9.38) I have a ton of users who use this feature on a daily basis. No idea why it happened or what could have happened. The archive is said to be corrupted and carries no definite link to the end header. Here i have Bookfolder in that few more folders(english,hindi,japanese).Converting english,hindi,japanese to english.zip,hindi.zip and is working fine and i'm keeping zip files and folders inside Bookfolder,this thing i'm doing using with java.But when i'm unzipping manually the zip file ex:english.zip ,right click on that extract here then showing error as UNEXPECTED END OF ARCHIVE.This is my code.So I have a user using 7zip to compress files and password protect them, all was going well all fine and dandy until just last week she started receiving an error stating the following: Sometimes, 7-zip is unable to open some headers from the start or end of the archive.
